Ciabatti Ricevimenti, renowned in the catering world, began its journey in 1986, thanks to the passion and culinary talent of Vittorio Ciabatti, the founder. Vittorio’s story began much earlier, in 1954, when, still a young man, he started working in the kitchens of the ancient Tuscan nobility. This experience, so different from traditional restaurant settings, gave him a solid background in the art of cooking and unique contacts in a stimulating and exclusive work environment.
After refining his craft as a chef on luxury cruise ships such as the Homeric, and in prestigious Florentines hotels such as Hotel Baglioni, Grand Hotel and Hotel Lucchesi, Vittorio decided to explore the world of catering, collaborating as a “home chef” with Doney Ricevimenti, an institution in the Florentine catering business.
In 1986, Vittorio Ciabatti decided to dedicate his life entirely to catering and founded Ciabatti Vittorio, which later became “Ciabatti Ricevimenti”. The business has grown thanks to Vittorio’s wealth of experience and passion. This has allowed Ciabatti Ricevimenti to satisfy all types of requests, from intimate events in private homes to grand business events and parties.
In the 1990s, Vittorio’s son, Claudio Ciabatti, joined the business, and in the year 2000 Stefania Ciabatti did too. With over 30 years of experience in the field, Ciabatti Ricevimenti has helped and contributed to the evolution of catering and the preparation of food.
Today, our goal is not only to experience change, but to anticipate it by constantly creating new innovative solutions.
Our business’s philosophy is based on our full collaboration with and our trust in our clients and partners. We do not wish to be merely suppliers but rather consultants and mentors, aiding and assisting our clients, guiding them in every phase of the organization of their special event.
